Ancestor Cited

Documenting my Southern family in AR, MS, TN, NC, SC, and VA

Welcome to Finding Historical Documentation.  I began researching my own family history 25 years ago.  Things have changed since then, and technology continues to change.  Records are more readily available, and new collections are digitized and can be accessed online.

I have discovered a whole arsenal of resources which has helped me to learn quite a bit about my own ancestry, that has equipped me to be able to help countless other people get past “brick walls.”

My ancestry consists of different races, namely, African-American, American Indian, and Caucasian. You will be able to browse through my findings, review case studies explaining how some discoveries were made, and journey with me back in time as that documentation leads from the first colonies across the water to Europe.  Click on a family surname above to get started.
